Talal Bijjani is a Co-Founding Partner and Head of the Corporate Practice at the Firm. He brings over 20 years of experience as a business and transactional lawyer, advising clients across the region on complex corporate and strategic matters.

Talal has extensive experience in negotiating and managing strategic transactions, sales, and restructurings, and regularly acts for regional and international clients on high-value and sophisticated mandates. His areas of specialization include banking and finance, capital markets, project finance, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, commercial and corporate law, and corporate structuring.

He is a trusted advisor to boards of directors and senior management, providing strategic counsel on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management.

Talal holds a Ph.D. in Law, an LL.M. in Banking and Financial Law from Boston University, and a Certificate in Islamic Finance from Harvard Law School. In addition to his legal practice, he serves as a law professor at a prominent university in Beirut.

Nayla Choucair Bijjani is the Managing Partner of the Firm and Head of its Litigation Practice. She has over a decade of experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in high-value commercial, banking, and enforcement disputes, including proceedings against private parties and governmental bodies.

Nayla has particular expertise in acting for banks, asset-based lenders, and financial institutions in complex asset recovery and enforcement actions, including the obtainment of freezing injunctions, search and seizure orders, and other interim and ancillary relief. She is highly regarded for her work on complex banking and investment disputes, as well as claims involving guarantees, indemnities, and warranties.

Her practice encompasses a wide range of commercial litigation and arbitration matters, including breach of warranty and post-transaction disputes, where she is regularly instructed on sophisticated, multi-layered cases.

Anthony Kawerkian is a Partner at the Firm and a key member of its Corporate Practice. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and a Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance, providing him with a strong legal and financial foundation for advising on complex commercial transactions.

Anthony focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, commercial and corporate law, and corporate structuring, where he regularly advises clients on both domestic and cross-border matters. He is actively involved in structuring and executing corporate transactions, advising on share and asset acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate reorganizations.

He works closely with boards of directors, shareholders, and senior management to provide pragmatic and commercially driven advice on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and transaction execution. Anthony is known for his meticulous approach, attention to detail, and ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear and actionable guidance for clients.

Charbel is a Senior Associate at the Firm and a member of its Litigation Practice. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and an MBA in International Business Law, equipping him with a strong blend of legal and commercial expertise.

Charbel is actively involved in handling a wide range of commercial and civil litigation matters, assisting clients throughout all stages of dispute resolution. His practice includes supporting senior counsel in complex litigation proceedings, preparing pleadings and submissions, conducting legal research, and managing procedural aspects of cases.

Nour is an Associate at the Firm and a member of its Corporate Practice. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Business Law from Saint Joseph University, providing her with a strong academic foundation in corporate and commercial legal matters.

Nour is involved in advising clients on a broad range of corporate and commercial transactions, including company formation, corporate structuring, and ongoing corporate compliance. She assists senior members of the team in drafting and reviewing transactional documentation, conducting legal due diligence, and supporting the execution of complex corporate mandates.

Cybelle is an Associate at the Firm and a member of its Corporate Practice. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the Lebanese University, providing her with a solid academic foundation in corporate and commercial law.
