Talal Bijjani is a co-founding Partner and currently heads the corporate practice at the firm. Talal has more than 15 years of experience as a business and transactional lawyer. He has been acting for clients through out the region on negotiating and managing strategic sales. Talal specializes in the areas of banking and finance, capital markets, project finance, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, commercial and corporate law, and corporate structuring. He advises boards and senior management on corporate governance. Talal holds a Ph.D. in Law, LLM in Banking and Financial Law from Boston University and an Islamic Finance Certificate from Harvard Law School. He is also a law professor at a prominent university in Beirut.
Nayla Choucair Bijjani
Nayla Choucair Bijjani is the Managing Partner of the firm. Nayla has been litigating high-value commercial and enforcement disputes for more than a decade, for plaintiffs and defendants, against private parties and governmental bodies. Nayla heads the litigation practice in the firm. Nayla specializes in acting for banks, asset based lenders and other financial institutions on asset recovery actions, obtaining freezing injunctions, search and seizure orders and other ancillary relief. Nayla also specializes in complex banking and investment disputes and claims on guarantees, indemnities and warranties. She has acted in numerous commercial litigation and arbitration matters including breach of warranty claims.
Faisal is a Kuwaiti lawyer with more than 15 years of experience in litigating commercial and enforcement disputes and criminal matters. Faisal specializes in acting for governmental bodies, banks, and oil companies. Faisal holds a master degree in international commercial law from Ohio University. He is a member of the Kuwaiti Bar Association and is a certified arbitrator by the CAS world sports court. Faisal is handling all Kuwaiti-related matters at the firm.
Anthony Kawerkian is an associate at the firm. He holds a LLB in law, a BA in banking and finance. Anthony is a member of the corporate department. He focuses his practice in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, commercial and corporate law and corporate structuring.
Lea is a junior associate at the firm. She holds a LLB in law and is currently pursuing her Post- Graduate Diploma of Advanced Studies (DEA) in Comparative Law. She is a member of our corporate department.
Alain is a junior associate at the firm. He holds a LLB in law and is currently pursuing his Post-Graduate Diploma of Advanced Studies (LLM) in Business Law at the Lebanese American University. He is a member of our corporate department.
Sandra is a junior associate at the firm. She holds a LLB and a Master 1 in law from the Lebanese University. She is a member of the litigation department.
Romy is a junior associate at the firm. She holds a LLB in law. She is a member of the litigation department.
Joe David Sabeh
Joe is a junior associate at the firm. He holds an LLB in law and a post-graduate certificate in Legal and Regulatory Compliance. He is a member of our corporate department.
Nour El Ghorayeb
Nour is a paralegal at the firm. She holds both an LLB in law and an LLM in business law from Saint Joseph University. She is part of the corporate department.
Daisy Cristina Gereige
Daisy started her Undergraduate Degree in Philosophy at Concordia University in Montreal Canada and is currently pursuing her Bachelor's Degree in Law at the Lebanese University. She is a member of the corporate department.
